Obituary of Harold J. Molnar
The death of Harold J. Molnar of New Zion, NB occurred Sunday, February 25, 2024 at his home.
Born in Minto, NB he was the son of the late Steve and Bertha (Boucher) Molnar. Harold was an avid woodsman. He enjoyed all of the many hunting and fishing trips with family. Harold enjoyed his time spent at the Molnar family camp, where majority of his cherished memories had been made. This is where many stories were told, laughs were had, and beer was drank.
Survived by his loving wife, Shirley (Petitpas) Molnar; daughter, Tracy Colwell (Clint); son, John Paul Molnar (Terri) and his fur ever companion Mali. Grandchildren, Alex (Caylie), Erica (Colton), Hannah and Maddix; great grandchildren, Callum and Wren; brother, Andrew Molnar; sisters, Helen Henderson, Mary Perry, Irene Collins, Jolan Melanson (David), Linda Atyeo (Roger) and Judy Molnar (David), sister in-law Mary Ellen and several nieces, nephews.
In addition to his parents, Harold was predeceased by brothers, John and Steve Molnar and chosen brother Derek Piper. Brother in-laws Paul, David, Junior and sister in-law Denise.
Honoring Harold’s wishes there will be a private funeral Service. For those who wish, donations made to Minto Hawks Softball would be greatly appreciated.
